I got some freelance writing work. Its cool, because it just sort of happened, in a way I wouldn't expect. Writing dialogue for a fishing game. Hey, money is money, and I've never written for children before. Though some people in my writing classes were close.

Lost 100 bucks at the boat in Elgin on Sunday. Serves me right, but I still have 50 of their money. Losers. Ha ha ha.

The problem with rock music these days is not enough songs about robots, shipwrecks, mining disasters or evil futuristic federations where rock is outlawed. If Nsync did a rock opera about a future society where music is illegal, I'd have a lot of respect for them. No, I doubt I would.

The other day I was so bored at work, that I wondered who would win in a fight between "Great Country Story Songs" and "Treasury of Bluegrass". I decided it would be Story Songs, due to the fact it features Johnny Cash, and Bluegrass only has a bunch of crotchety old banjo players.

I booked tickets for LA and Seattle, and I'm very excited about it. March 20-31. Lock up your daughters, LA!

I started working on that one man show today. Should be fairly easy. Just running a projecter and some sound cues. A quick 6 week run to make some money. And it's just the one guy.

And no, I didn't win the playoff money. Stupid Jeff Wilkins.
